This is a wonderful vintage sunny yellow summer weight wool Escada skirt suit with the Margaretha Ley Escada label. You can wear it as a suit or break it up and wear two great separates with other things in your closet!

The beautifully tailored jacket is a longline blazer with a pointed collar and dramatic shoulders that are structured with shoulder pads. The front of the jacket has seams along the bodice and there are two deep pockets. There is a clear acrylic monogrammed button in the center front opening and the same buttons are on cuffs of the sleeves.

The classic pencil skirt has a kick pleat and closes with a back zipper down the center seam and a button.

There is an extra button sewn into the skirt label and the suit was made in Germany of 100% new wool.

Labeled a size 40, which is approximately a US size 10, but please always use the measurements as a guide for the best fit.
